Risk Analysis
Questions related to actual or perceived environmental risk to humans or ecological receptors often influence property transactions and environmental clean-up decisions. We assist our clients as they consider the relative advantages and disadvantages of conservative Federal and state risk-based cleanup criteria.
A risk assessment using USEPA guidance can provide more realistic exposure potential and bring the remediation goals closer to a realistic but still conservative risk-based clean-up. Our engineers and scientists work to understand regulatory requirements and client objectives for environmental risk assessment and risk-based corrective action decisions. We provide monitoring of air, soil, and water, as well as, household dust, and exterior structures and equipment. Our risk services also include data analyses for subsequent risk-based modeling to demonstrate the “actual” risk from a potential exposure pathway.
