Groundwater Sampling
AquAeTer was retained by its client, an Alaska Native Corporation, to conduct environmental media sampling over a four-year period at several groundwater contamination sites on the former US Navy air station on remote Adak Island in the Aleutian islands chain of Alaska. The assignment included sampling planning, sampling team management, and sampling oversight. AquAeTer also assisted with data quality evaluation and reporting of sampling events. Planning for and dealing with remote location logistics with regard to sampling equipment and sample handling and shipping were significant project components.
AquAeTer provided the following services to its client for this sampling and reporting project:
